The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Questers and Planners tables.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
